We only stayed here for 2 nights, as we didn't have time, though everything was great. Marvellous and beautiful location in the centre of the town was a plus. What's more, it was near the park, and hill top overlooking the Collanade...

I went to Karlovy Vary with my Mother. The experience at the Hotel Ontario was really excellent. The hotel rates are exceptionally good for the experience/location/cleanliness/and lovely hotel room. It really is a lovely hotel - the staff were very friendly. A huge plus for us was the car parking available and the ease of actually finding the hotel with the satnav (a little further down into K.V. and these two become big issues). However, the hotel is very close to the town, there's a lift that takes you right down into the shopping area. The room itself (room 7) was fantastic - huge with two big windows and balcony and the most amazing views. Huge bathroom (shower, no bath) and lovely furnishings. A really positive experience. Can't rate it highly enough.
Nothing we didn't like. Did suggest that they put up a rail in the shower room for older people to get hold of. But all in all 5*****,

Large, spacious rooms decorated traditionally. Kettle, cups and saucers in separate loung/dining room to enjoy snacks. Ample breakfast with plenty of variety - hot and cold.

The rooms are well furnished and well-organised with exceptionally comfortable beds and smoke detectors. There is a wide array of facilities in the room such as : a living area, coffee, and a couch.

The location was awesome and super - within short walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. the hotel was in a fairly nice area, next to Karlovy Vary/Karlsbad, and the very city center on top of the colonnade.
